A New Way of Seeing Wellness
Welcome to Life Under the Lens, Dover’s unique wellness service where you can see your own blood live under a microscope.
Most of us go through life without ever seeing this vital part of ourselves. But the moment you do, something shifts — you pay attention. You realise how much hydration, rest, diet, and stress shape your inner world.
This isn’t medical testing. We don’t diagnose, prescribe, or treat. What we offer is something simpler and, in many ways, more powerful: awareness. When you see your blood alive on the screen, glowing under darkfield microscopy, it becomes real. And awareness is the first step to change.
Who We Are
My name is Trevor Banks, and I have over 10 years of experience observing live blood through darkfield microscopy. I’ve worked internationally, focusing on wellness and immune health, and I’ve seen first-hand how motivating it can be when people are given the chance to see their own living blood.
Now, back in my hometown of Dover, I want to bring this unique approach to the community — to offer people the chance to look beneath the surface and reflect on their own well-being in a new way.
Our Approach
- Educational, not diagnostic — we explain what you’re seeing in plain English, without medical claims.
- Empowering — you always see your own blood, and leave with photos to track progress if you choose.
- Simple & safe — just a tiny fingertip prick, using sterile single-use equipment.
- Wellness-focused — our observations highlight everyday factors like hydration, diet quality, stress, and rest.
Why It Matters
When you can see your own cells moving, sticking, or flowing freely, it’s no longer abstract advice about “drink more water” or “manage stress.” It’s real, personal, and visual. That’s why Life Under the Lens exists: to give people a reason to care, and a tool to make
